Students in grade 8 and up are invited to join the Youth Group. The focus of the Youth Group is social and service causes. The young people are challenged to put their faith into action. The Youth Group sponsors Breakfast with Santa, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and the Passion of our Lord Play (on Good Friday). Service activities have included helping at a soup kitchen, building a picnic table for Habitat for Humanity, and delivering plants to our homebound parishioners at Christmas and Easter.
Social activities have included movie nights, Tiger games and a road rally. Under the direction of the Youth Minister, the activities of the Youth Group are driven by the suggestions, ideas and input of its members. Meeting dates and times will vary depending on the activity.
