Mary Oppat, who is a long time parishioner of St. Louise, held a Chair Exercising class during the summer for 6 weeks on Tuesday nights. All 17 people that attended this class loved it.
Mary also teaches at the Warren Community Center. . The Membership Committee of the Christian Women is illuminating the way to our very active, very creative, very service oriented organization. We want to invite ladies of all talents, interests, skills and all age groups. We welcome and need your energy, enthusiasm and friendship. Our Christian Women organization is a very active arm of St. Louise. We have four Guilds, each of which welcome you. As everyone well knows, without new members, an organization cannot remain viable nor realize its greatest potential. "AND GOD SAID, LET THERE BE LIGHT"...to show you the way to join us. We welcome you with sisterly love. The

The Rosary Altar Society was founded in 1963. It's mission and obligation was to clean the altar each week, keep the vestments clean, and keep the flowers alive. Today we are known as the Christian Women of St. Louise and our mission is to develop Christian attitudes, to further apostolic works and to be of service to the St. Louise Community among women. Any Christian woman may join us by attending a regularly scheduled meeting or by attending any event sponsored by Christian Women and speaking with our Membership Chairman, Bernice McMarlin. We are friendly, sociable, and always eager to meet new people. You can also send an email to us care of the parish office by clicking on this link. We meet the first Monday of February, March, April, May, June, October, November and December in the Parish Hall. Our organization is composed of Guilds. You may choose to belong to any Guild. Each Guild takes a turn hosting meetings and events. We sponsor many activities. For instance, we prepare an entire meal for the homeless during their stay at St. Louise. We have hosted a New Year's Eve Party in the social hall since 1996. Each year since 1965 we have held the Annual Mother/Daughter Breakfast. (See pictures here.) The reception for the Annual Wedding Anniversary celebration is staged by our group. Since 1997, we have hosted an annual Wine Tasting and Auction. Also, we have held a Mardi Gras party annually since 1998, as well as an auction for Right to Life held each December. We currently have 110 members who are young, old and middle-aged. We have a variety of talents, interests, and backgrounds. Where else could you mingle with so many good people in a good environment while achieving good works of charity?
