I was born and raised in the City of Hamtramck and was a member of St. Florian Parish and attended 12 years of school there and a graduate of University of Michigan. I am a veteran having served four years in the United States Air Force and retired from Ford Motor Company in Dearborn. My wife, Delphine (Del) and I are proud parents of two sons, Jeffery and Brian, and we also have two grandsons named Hunter and Chase. We enjoy our grandsons and always look forward to being with them as much as possible.

Shortly after I retired, I answered the call to serve God and entered formation into the Diaconate in 1999. While I was enrolled at Sacred Heart Seminary, I studied philosophy and theology and earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies. My wife Del also attended some of the classes showing her interest in and approval of my calling. I was ordained on October 4th, 2003 at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and assigned to St. Louise Parish.

I am happy to be part of this community and hope to give many years of service to this parish. I am currently the Director of the R.C.I.A. program and it is my further desire that you will come to rely on me and my ministry.

Your brother in Christ,
Deacon Art
