I became the
Custodian and Maintenance person at St. Louise in October of 1996. I
started working at the Detroit News in 1977 and continued there until the
labor strike in 1995. From 1995 to 1996, I worked at the Detroit Sunday
Journal in sales. I have also been working part-time at The Macomb Daily
for the last 25 years. I have taken courses in print technology and labor
management.
I have been Baptist and Lutheran, but in 1992 I found my true calling and became Roman Catholic. I am married and have three children. I am a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Militia of the Immaculata. I am also an advocate of the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I also belong to several prayer groups. My duties in General Maintenance include: plumbing, electrical, plaster repair, painting, and miscellaneous repair. I am also responsible for grounds up-keep and custodial work, as well as all set-ups and tear-downs for parish functions. I am in the Parish Office every weekday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can reach me by clicking on this link. |
